Huddersfield Partnership Seed Programme
HP Seed is a pilot enterprise and employment support programme for individuals on the fringe of setting up a business who would not engage a financial institution or professional agency to progress their business idea. We aim to deliver the programme which incorporates access to an incubation hub, mentoring, seminars and buddying opportunities to enable individuals to get their business idea off the ground, whilst promoting opportunities for personal growth and development.
Programme consists of:
- Introduce beneficiaries to incubation hub that can be utilised to help develop a plan to enable beneficiaries to begin their entrepreneurial journey
- Link participants to infrastructure organisations to help them formalise their business ideas
- Link participants to tailored marketing opportunities in conjunction with HP members who specialise in marketing & PR
- Offer participants pop-shop opportunities, where individuals can ‘test trade’ on their local high street
- Provide coaching sessions to participants with an existing partnership member (mentor) who has an established business/organisation
- Deliver seminars and/or training opportunities focussed on ‘developing you and your business facilitated by our corporate and educational supporters the likes of NatWest Bank, Zest Business Support and the University of Huddersfield.
