If business is good then the town reaps the benefits. Therefore business and marketing is key in supporting the development and growth of our town. We seek to support every sector of business in the town, from small charities and independent retailers to IT companies and Solicitors. We offer opportunities to network with other businesses, offer free advertising via our business/community newsletter and provide tendering opportunities that are only available to members. Keeping businesses in the loop concerning key changes in the town is also a key activity we offer.
Marketing the town is also a key activity of the Partnership and being part of initiatives that create leisure opportunities that will enhance the town’s appeal. By working strategically with the council, we have the opportunity to consult and comment upon initiatives or ventures that seek to take place in the town. We can objectively advocate on behalf of our members by expressing to the council, what would be and what would not be beneficial for the town.
We also seek to create campaigns to support both the day time and evening economies and going forward we hope that we can help create a brand that will highlight what our town has to offer both residents and visitors.
