One of the ways Huddersfield Partnership endeavours to support the vibrancy of the town centre and support local businesses, is through the organisation and delivery of the Huddersfield Food and Drink Festival.
Huddersfield Food and Drink Festival (Hudds Food Fest) is the largest FREE festival of its kind in Yorkshire and in 2015 we celebrated the festivals 15th anniversary which attracted over 100,000 people, over its four day period. Visitors came from across the North of England and beyond (even as far as Liverpool, Cornwall and New York). Set within the exquisite backdrop of St George’s Square, Hudds Food Fest highlights the of best Huddersfield including its local cuisine, beautiful surroundings and talented entertainers.
The festival has a strong brand and it’s reputation precedes it. With a colossal following, the event grows from strength to strength. Ever thankful to our previous sponsors, including John Smiths Stadium/Heineken, Santander,
Jamie’s Ministry of Food, Heart Radio, Saltaire Brewery Dawnson Music and First Transpennine Express (to name a few).
We are proud that over 90% of the food and drink businesses who exhibit at the festival are from Huddersfield & Yorkshire.
Planning is currently taking place for 2016. It won’t be as extravagant as the 15th anniversary celebrations but we aim to (yet again) deliver a great event that is inclusive to all!
Keep watch for further developments!
